30 Days, 30 Posts: Adoption...Where We Are In The Process Now

Sending off one of our last packets to
our placement agency (before we moved).

This will be a short post!  We are waiting, waiting and still waiting.  Waiting seems to be the common thread that runs through our adoption story (and I think with most adoptions).  Waiting to finish paperwork, waiting to get copies of certificates and police clearances, waiting to hear from the agency/potential birthparents, waiting to travel, waiting to meet your child, waiting to get “home”, waiting...

mailing off some of our last paperwork.

While some of our waiting is due to conscious decisions we have made, other reasons for our waiting are completely out of our control.  I cannot wait for the day when I get to share with everyone that our wait is finally over!!
